There is a concerning update on Quinton Aaron's condition. As we previously reported, The Blind Side actor has been on life support in the hospital for several days now after collapsing at his home in Atlanta. Quinton's wife, Margarita Aaron, told TMZ that he woke up one morning feeling sore, and the pain in his neck and back remained days later. While walking up the stairs of their apartment, he suddenly lost feeling in his legs and collapsed. Margarita then called 911. Quinton was in and out of consciousness on the way to the hospital. When he arrived, doctors recommended he be placed on life support, and that's how critical his condition is. And that's where he has been for the last five days. Thankfully, Margarita said he is partially breathing on his own and has shown improvement. She is also hopeful that Quinton "will walk out of here fully recovered." Quinton reportedly has a blood infection, but doctors don't know the root cause of it. They've been running several tests on him since he entered the hospital... and they've now made an alarming discovery. Family sources revealed to TMZ on Tuesday that doctors found a rare cyst on his spine! Oh, no! Quinton is currently undergoing more tests to determine whether it's benign. Surgery is also reportedly a possibility now. If that happens, he will need to go through extensive physical therapy and may be in a wheelchair for some time. Oof. This is not the update anyone wanted to hear about Quinton, but at least doctors are finding some answers. Fortunately, the 40-year-old star has loved ones by his side at this time. He also has his former co-star, Sandra Bullock, keeping a close eye on the scary situation. A source told DailyMail.com on Tuesday that the Practical Magic actress is "monitoring" his condition and staying optimistic right now: "Though they haven't stayed in touch [since the movie], Sandra is aware that he is in rough shape and she is monitoring the situation and obviously hoping for the best." We all are... We continue to send love and support to Quinton and his family during this difficult time. Hopefully, everything turns out all right with him.
