The tech giant's streaming service announced Tuesday that is has renewed Shrinking for a fourth season. The renewal comes a day before season three of the comedy is set to premiere. Season three will pick up after events of the second season finale, where Jimmy (Jason Segel) saved the life of Louis (Brett Goldstein), the man who killed Jimmy's wife in a drunk driving accident. The new season will also follow Paul (Harrison Ford) as he seeks treatment for his Parkinson's disease, where (as seen in the trailer) he meets a character played by Michael J. Fox, who has Parkinson's and through his foundation has raised millions of dollars to research the condition. Guest stars in season three include Goldstein, Fox, Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick, Cobie Smulders, Jeff Daniels, Candice Bergen, Sherry Cola and Isabella Gomez. The show's first two seasons earned a total of nine Emmy nominations, including a best comedy series nod last year. Segel and Williams have each been nominated for their acting work twice, and Ford and Urie landed 2025 nominations as well. Segel, Goldstein and Bill Lawrence co-created the series, which comes from Warner Bros. TV, where Lawrence and his Doozer Productions and Goldstein have overall deals. They executive produce with Neil Goldman, James Ponsoldt, Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer, Randall Winston, Rachna Fruchbom, Brian Gallivan, Ashley Nicole Black and Bill Posley.
