Oof. This is so s**tty. Karamo Brown had a major falling out with his Queer Eye co-stars while filming the just-released final season last summer. Drama went down when his mother was visiting set and overheard a scandalous hot mic moment when cast members Antoni Porowski, Tan France, and Jonathan Van Ness were caught gossiping about him. And now we know exactly what was said, and why it cut so deep! Spilling the tea to DailyMail.com on Monday, an insider dished: "When it comes to what Karamo's mom heard, it was very petty." Oof! According to the source, Antoni, Tan, and JVN were criticizing the way Karamo "looked and dressed," and then it drifted into his work on the show: "But then it turned into complaining about what he tells the subjects on the show. ... Since he is the life coach, that's obviously not something that anyone wants to hear - that they aren't doing a good job. It's especially hard when it's coming from your so-called friends." And it hurt worse because the former talk show host already had "concerns that his fellow cast members were talking behind his back," so when his mom "heard them stirring up drama," his fears were validated. Damn. The insider reflected: "It turned very sour, very fast once Karamo figured out what they really felt for him." That sucks! It's unclear how early this happened into production of the final season, but the cast, including the newest member Jeremiah Brent, were all seen seemingly excluding Karamo on set. They have reportedly not talked since, and Karamo skipped out on the press tour because of this mess. As for where they stand now? Well, a reconciliation isn't looking likely: "Karamo doesn't need an apology and is not expecting one. He's happy to move on and remember his Queer Eye experience as mostly positive. The show was about helping others and he's confident he did that, whether or not his fellow cast members felt the same way. He's moved on." Sad to see it all end like this! But at least the show's over, and he doesn't have to put himself in such a reportedly toxic situation again! Thoughts? Sound OFF (below).
