Denny Hamlin's fiancée is speaking out nearly a month after the NASCAR star's father, Dennis Hamlin, died in a house fire. "I just wanna come on here and say hi. I know it's been a minute," Jordan Fish wrote via her Instagram Story on Sunday, January 25, according to Essentially Sports. "I wanted to say thank you to everybody reaching out over the last month or so. I tried to get back to a lot of you. I know there were so many I did not reply to. I've seen everyone's messages. I just wanna say thank you." The deadly fire occurred at the North Carolina home of Denny's parents, Dennis, 75, and Mary Lou, 69, the night of December 28. Both were transported to a local hospital with "catastrophic injuries," the Gaston County Office of Emergency Management and Fire Services confirmed the following day. "It's been a really weird, sad season," Fish continued. "Not really much of an off-season at all, and it's hard to believe that next weekend we're gonna be starting back up again, and I don't feel like we're really caught up." "I know for a fact this is my last chance for my dad to see it. I don't want him going and never getting to see the moment," he said.
