Two pop culture icons will be joining the cast, with Rachel Adedeji and Clive Rowe joining the company as Persephone and Hermes respectively. Both have enjoyed illustrious theatre and TV careers but long term fans will recognise Rachel from series six of The X Factor (and announcer Peter Dickson's iconic pronunciation of her name) and Clive as the legendary Duke from Tracy Beaker. They will be starring alongside Bethany Antonia (Peter Pan: The Never Ending Story World Tour) as Eurydice, Marley Fenton (Hamilton) as Orpheus, and Alistair Parker (The Crucible) as Hades. The cast also includes Spike Maxwell, Melanie Bright and Lauran Rae as the Fates, and Gabriela Benedetti Femi Akinfolarin, Michelle Andrews, Ollie Bingham and Sebastian Lim-Seet as Workers. The cast is completed by Juan Jackson, Oisín Nolan-Power, Lindo Shinda, Jasmine Triadi and Milly Willows as swings.
