by Lauren GarafanoBuzzFeedBuzzFeed Staff A while back, we shared stories from service workers who waited on famous people and revealed how much they got tipped. Well, even more readers shared their own celebrity tip experiences, and I'm stunned by some of these. Here are those stories: The people who shared their stories allegedly speak from personal encounters. Obviously, we weren't there when they happened, so feel free to take them with a grain of salt. 1. "I am a waitress, and John Legend came in for dinner. He and his manager ordered a lot of food and drink. Maybe $250. They left me a $250 tip and signed an autograph. Love it." Frazer Harrison / Getty Images -Anonymous, 57, female, Cape Cod 2. "I served Benson Boone, and he tipped $1,000." Karwai Tang / WireImage -Anonymous, 22, female, California 3. "I waited on Daniel Day-Lewis and his wife about ten years ago while they were staying at the boutique hotel I worked at. They were absolutely elegant. I will never forget it. He entered the restaurant quietly and without pomp. An older woman at the bar squealed, and he handled the situation with grace and took a picture with her. They sat outside and quietly ate their meal while I served them. When I brought them the bill after his wife asked for it, he said to me, 'Thank you, my darling.' He left a 50% tip on the bill. This exchange lives rent-free in my head." Steve Granitz / WireImage -Anonymous, 37, female, Western Massachusetts 4. "Billie Eilish does not tip. Ever." Glen Campbell, a complete jerk, always tried to get someone else to pick up the tab and no tipper." CBS Photo Archive / CBS via Getty Images -Anonymous 6. "My friend worked at a bar in Chicago. Amy Schumer was a patron and was super sweet and tipped my friend $600 on a $100 bill." John Nacion / WireImage -Anonymous, 36, female, Michigan 7. "I worked as a bartender for years in an exclusive Manhattan nightclub and have served hundreds of celebrities. By far, the most memorable one was LeBron James, who was somewhat of a regular during that time. He was always so polite and down to earth, and sometimes he came in with a family member. He tipped very generously as well. He was genuinely the nicest guy, and I hope he's stayed that way. Mary J. Blige is a close second. She even invited me to sit in her limo with her and have some champagne (which I did). She is so humble, generous, and REAL." "I was waiting tables at a well-known Irish pub in Chicago during lunch in the late '90s. It was one of my three jobs and one side business at the time, and I was struggling. The pub was doing very little lunch business at that time, so usually one person could cover the whole restaurant. One day, Oprah comes in with RFK Jr., and the place is busy. They were not friendly, and Oprah was downright rude and demanding. There was probably some waiting due to understaffing, but service went well, and I generally leave them alone to talk about whatever they were up to. I expected at least a 20% tip for good service and certainly hoped it would be a good day. At the end, Oprah pays but leaves no tip. I was never a fan per se, but now I never fail to tell everyone about her real persona behind the scenes." Billy Crystal came in alone to the restaurant where I worked. Ordered a burger, was quiet, very polite, and left a $50 tip. Such a nice man. He treated me very kindly." The best tippers (regulars) were Dana White and Carrot Top. Carrot Top always tipped 100% of the total bill. Dana White would tip thousands. For example, one time he tipped $2,500 on a bill that was $900. I've also waited on Jenny McCarthy. She didn't want anyone in her party to pay, so she came up to me, handed me her card to pay, and then slipped me $100 into my hand." I served George Blanda and his wife several times. They would come to the resort for the Oktoberfest and the polka conventions twice a year. They were some of the kindest, most generous, and genuinely most fun and friendly couple I have ever met. I was always 'gifted' a hundred-dollar bill on top of the regular tip of at least 20%+ of the total. Very down-to-earth and ha
