New devastating details about the death of Renee Nicole Good have come out. As we previously reported, the 37-year-old was fatally shot by an ICE agent, later identified as Jonathan Ross, on January 7 after dropping her 6-year-old son off at school in Minneapolis. A Minneapolis Fire Department report obtained by the Minnesota Star Tribune revealed she suffered four gunshot wounds and was found unresponsive in her SUV with an "irregular" and "inconsistent" heartbeat, along with blood on her face and torso, after paramedics arrived on the scene, around five minutes after the shooting. Paramedics attempted to perform life-saving measures before taking her to the hospital. Sadly, Renee didn't make it. However, many have slammed their account of the shooting - and there's video proof to back them up, including of agents refusing to allow a physician to check if Renee had a pulse after the shooting. Now, as everyone mourns this tragedy, new details are emerging. According to The New York Times, the family's lawyers at Romanucci & Blandin released some of the preliminary private autopsy results on Wednesday. The attorneys say the autopsy report was conducted by a "highly respected" and credentialed independent medical pathologist, but their name has not been released yet. They also declined to release the full autopsy, and the Hennepin County medical examiner's office also has yet to release the results of the official autopsy. However, what did come out so far is absolutely heartbreaking. The New York Times reported that the autopsy found that two of the gunshot wounds to Renee's forearm and chest were not immediately life-threatening. One bullet hit her left forearm, while another entered her right breast but did not penetrate any major organs. She also suffered a graze wound "consistent with a firearm injury, but with no penetration," per the autopsy. A third bullet struck Renee on the left side of her head near the temple and exited the right side of her head. And that is what unfortunately ended her life. What happened to Renee is just horrible, and she should still be here today. We continue to send her loved ones love and support during this difficult time.
