As previously revealed, theatre royalty Carrie Hope Fletcher will be leading the production as Jenna at select venues. Today, it has been confirmed that she will be joined by Evelyn Hoskins and Sandra Marvin, both of whom will be reprising their roles as Dawn and Becky respectively. Evelyn and Sandra previously played their roles in both the West End productions as well as the 2022 UK tour. Also joining the cast will be TV legend Les Dennis as Joe. Perhaps best known for presenting Family Fortunes from 1987 to 2002, Les also has a rich history in theatre. Over the years, he has starred in Chicago, Hairspray, Legally Blonde the Musical, as well as The Addams Family alongside Carrie. When a dashing new doctor arrives in town, things get more than a little complicated! The musical was created by a female-led creative team including a score by the Grammy award-winning Sara Bareilles, a book by acclaimed screenwriter Jessie Nelson and direction by Tony(R) Award-winner Diane Paulus. The Waitress the Musical UK tour kicks off in Wimbledon on March 28 with further stops including Brighton, Bradford, Woking, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Eastbourne, Glasgow and Salford.
