Madison Prewett is getting candid about the realities of postpartum life - and the pressures that new moms feel to "bounce back." Prewett, 29, spoke out about parenthood on the Tuesday, January 20, episode of "The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast," which marked her daughter Hosanna Rose's first birthday. During their sit-down chat, cohost Candace Cameron Bure pointed out that Prewett's daughter shares the same birthday as her son, Maksim Bure. "What a beautiful day. That's a good day," Prewett said. (Prewett and Grant Troutt - who exchanged vows in October 2022 - announced they were expecting their first child in August 2024, five months before their bundle of joy was born). Candace, 49, pointed out how there are many "unexpected moments" and lessons learned as a new mom. Madi agreed and said she's still adjusting to her physical changes. Your body doesn't quite go back," Prewett continued. "Like, your marriage is different and it makes everything better, but it is different. And that was, for sure, an adjustment for me at the beginning." Prewett also brought up her postpartum baby hairs during their discussion, telling the Full House alum they're growing in a "different color." She added, "That was the stuff I think I was not prepared for ... was, like, my body changing, my hair changing." Cameron Bure opened up about her own hair loss and having greys, noting she is 20 years older. "You know, we're going to see it as a good thing," Prewett chimed in. "We're producing new growth, new life." "And I have cried so much. I'm like, I just want you to be my little baby. But then I'm so excited for all the stages ahead. It really is the greatest gift in the world. I mean, it unlocked a purpose that I didn't even know." Cameron Bure is a mom of three, and shares a daughter, 27-year-old Natasha, and two sons, Lev, 25, and Maksim, 24, with husband Valeri Bure. The couple have been married since June 1996.
