Blake Lively accused Justin Baldoni of pressuring her into a "humiliating" nude scene in It Ends With Us! According to TMZ, new excerpts from the Gossip Girl alum's deposition dropped on Tuesday - including her detailed account of what happened when she filmed that alleged nude birth scene in the film. In her testimony, Blake claimed that on the day of the shoot, Justin and producer Jamey Heath insisted she should simulate giving birth naked. The director even allegedly told the actress that his own wife, Emily Baldoni, tore her clothes off while giving birth to their kids to try to convince her! Blake said she fired back at Justin that she never gave birth in the buff, and she wanted her character to wear a hospital gown. However, per her deposition, Justin didn't let up. He allegedly continued to push for nudity and for the prosthetic belly to be visible in the scene. Blake claimed she ultimately felt "forced to compromise and ultimately agreed to simulate nudity from below the chest down, which we had not previously discussed or agreed to." That day, Blake alleged it took several hours to film the birth - on a not fully closed set: "At many points during filming, I was positioned on my back on a hospital bed, with my naked legs spread apart wide in stirrups, while non-essential crew passed by." Blake claimed the only thing covering her besides a "strategically placed hospital gown" was a "small, thin and flat piece of black fabric to cover my genitalia." She said production filmed her simulating childbirth from several angles, including from the side and the front, with simulated nudity from her "lower half down." The Simple Favor star added: "I had to request a blanket to be given to me for privacy between takes, which was not always provided." While filming the birth scene that day, Blake said she found out the actor playing the OB/GYN was one of Justin's friends. He was allegedly "repeatedly positioned between my legs in close proximity to my barely covered genitalia." All of that made her feel "extremely uncomfortable," per her deposition: "I was extremely uncomfortable with the degree to which I was exposed during the Birth Scene, which felt violative and humiliating. That was amplified by having Baldoni's best friend acting between my legs, and his other best friend and the Film's financier visiting that day of all days." Blake pointed out it was "inappropriate" for the financier, Steve Sarowitz, to come to the set that day. Oof. There are also photos of her with her bare legs spread open during the shoot included. The Jane The Virgin alum claimed she was never nude, nor did she only have a piece of cloth to cover her genitalia in the scene! According to Justin, she had a lot on - including "black briefs and a pregnancy suit that covered her midsection, and her top was covered by a hospital gown." Justin insisted the only nude part of her body exposed in the scene was her legs. He also said they had ""only 'essential' individuals (e.g. film crew, talent)" present for filming that day. Justin's friend, Adam Mondschein, who played the doctor in the scene, also backed him up in an interview with Page Six, saying: "Her costume included a full hospital gown, black shorts and torso-covering prosthetic to make her appear pregnant in addition to whatever personal garments she chose." He also swore Blake " never complained or expressed discomfort at any point" during filming since "nothing unusual or improper occurred," adding: "It was entirely professional." Hmm.
