The show, which currently features Tom Felton from the Harry Potter film series, played to 98 percent capacity with an average ticket price of $207. Hamilton was the second highest grossing with $2.1 million, followed by Wicked with $1.942 million. Mamma Mia was hot on its heels with $1.941 million, as the musical revival nears the end of its Broadway run at the Winter Garden Theatre. The show is scheduled to play its final performance Feb. 1, before Death of a Salesman, starring Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf moves into the space. The play brought in $1.74 million at the Marquis Theatre and played to 98 percent capacity. Hell's Kitchen, which announced last week that it would play its final performance Feb. 22, saw a small increase in grosses and attendance, reaching $955,416, up close to $130,000 from the prior week, and attendance up to 82 percent. Overall, industry grosses stayed fairly steady from the prior week, with total gross up just 1 percent and attendance fairly flat. Still, grosses from this season to date are already up 8 percent from last year and attendance is up 3 percent suggesting a continuing recovery post-pandemic. As Broadway moves off of its holiday highs into January and February, the industry will offer discounted tickets through Broadway Week, which runs from Jan. 20 through Feb. 12 in order to boost attendance through the slow winter months.
