Dailymail.com obtained Ring camera footage on Monday, which shows the High School Musical 3: Senior Year alum manhandling his former fiancée one year before he got busted for a bond violation, among other charges. We didn't know the details of the violation but now it is all seemingly being revealed! In the horrifying video, Matt picks up and shoves a 24-year-old woman named Lucy out of the front door of their Victoria, Texas, house at around 10:35 a.m. on May 18, 2024. Lucy begs and says, "Oh no," all while resisting the actor. According to Dailymail.com, all this happened 24 hours after Matt allegedly threatened to hurt her with a hammer! A police report filed that same day claimed the Geek Charming star picked up a hammer from the kitchen table and told Lucy, "'I will smash your skull in,'" before pushing her "into things causing her pain." An insider alleged that several of the former couple's "friends all saw him throw Lucy to the ground, shove her around and then when they saw the hammer come up, that's when they had enough." When the pair went to a nearby shop later that day, Lucy told a staff member she had been assaulted, and the person called the police. Officers noted in the report that there's photographic evidence of bruising from previous assaults and videos of "continuous behavior" of Matt "threatening" Lucy. Because of the history, along with "the circumstance" at the time, the cop "believed that Matthew was an imminent threat to Lucy." Lucy did not want to press charges, but the report said Matt was still charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, unlawful restraint, and resisting arrest for refusing to comply with officers.
