In an interview with U.K. radio show Capital Breakfast, the Adolescence star reflected on the chaos that followed winning the award for best actor in a limited series, anthology series or a motion picture made for television. "I had to go straight from L.A. the day after to Madrid because I had to be on set the next day. It was weird, I had like three minutes to catch the plane," Graham said. "It's a next-level kind of thing. As I come off, a woman stood there with my name and she took me down the stairs, threw me in a car and drove me across the airport on the runway." He also expressed that concern. "I went, 'Excuse me, love? There's no way you're getting my suitcase on this plane if I'm in a car now,' and she's like, 'Oh no, don't worry, we'll take care of it,'" Graham added of his travel day. "And I was like, 'No, no, no, no, you don't understand,' and she went, 'I promise you, I promise you.' Anyway, it didn't land." He said his suitcase was "left in Atlanta," which contained his socks, pants, suit, shoes and his Golden Globe. He reiterated that he "never left it" but rather put it in his case because the trophy is heavy. "I wasn't carrying that on me," he said. Despite being separated from the new trophy, the actor revealed that he eventually reunited with his Globe: "But thankfully, thankfully, it turns up the day after. Two days after." Prior to the Globes, Graham also won in the lead actor in a limited series, anthology or movie category at last year's Emmy Awards for his Adolescence role. In the same interview, Graham also shared that while in town for the Globes, he stayed with "proper pal" Leonardo DiCaprio for a "couple days." Graham starred alongside DiCaprio in the 2002 film Gangs of New York.
