I feel like I'm much older a soul than I am in age. I feel like I've lived enough life to know. I've met enough guys to know - I've met enough girls to know. I don't feel 22. I feel like 27, 28." Gotham / Getty Images Sophie and Joe ended up getting divorced in 2023 after four years of marriage. In 2024, Sophie opened up about initially taking time to consider whether she was ready to become a mom when she found out she was pregnant with her first child. Angela Weiss / Getty Images "I remember throwing the pregnancy test at [Joe], saying, 'What do you think we should do? Do you think we should have it?'" she recalled to British Vogue. "When you're in your early 20s, life is so frivolous. At that point, I really didn't know if I wanted to be a mother, but something changed in me that day. I just knew I had to have her." And now, Sophie has opened up further about the reality of becoming a parent at a young age during a recent interview with The Guardian. Roy Rochlin / Getty Images Firstly noting that it's "really nice" being a mom-of-two at 29, Sophie said, "I'm not worrying about my biological clock and all that sort of stuff." Pascal Le Segretain / Getty Images "It just felt like the right break to focus on me, because I'd been a character for so long," she added, referring to her Game of Thrones fame. However, Sophie went on to acknowledge that her career "stalled" as a result of her focusing on parenthood over work. "Nesting and being at home was amazing. But the flipside of it, and COVID didn't help, was that this was a big break from the career. And I've had to try to rebuild, in a way. You don't realize how important momentum is in a career, and I stalled it a bit," she admitted. Ignat / Getty Images You can read Sophie's full interview here.
