The streamer has revealed the first batch of details for the next edition of the Netflix Is a Joke Festival, scheduled for May 4-10. The lineup includes shows from top comedians, screenings, podcast recordings in front of live audiences, reunions, one-night-only collaborations and more. Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 23. Produced by Netflix in partnership with Live Nation, Netflix Is a Joke Fest will host more than 350 live events in a week span at some of the city's high-profile venues, including the Hollywood Bowl, Greek Theatre, Intuit Dome, Comedy Store, Laugh Factory and Hollywood Improv. The lineup so far is below. • Night of Too Many Stars: An evening of stand-up, variety and music hosted by Jon Stewart. Confirmed talent: Bill Burr, Conan O'Brien, Steve Carell, Ron Funches, Nikki Glaser, Tiffany Haddish, Jimmy Kimmel, Leanne Morgan, John Mulaney, Bob Odenkirk, Matt Rife, Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman, Ali Wong, Noah Wyle and more. Presented by event founders Robert and Michelle Smigel with Jill Leiderman to benefit NEXT for Autism, a national organization providing programs and support for those with autism. • Funny AF With Kevin Hart (previously announced as Kevin Hart Comedy Competition): The search for the world's next funniest comedian will begin streaming on Netflix starting April 20, with taped episodes leading up to the live semifinals and finale in the festival May 4-5. • Nate Bargatze: The top-selling comedian in the world returns to Netflix is a Joke, this time with two shows at Intuit Dome, where he'll film his next Netflix comedy special to air later this year. • Shane Gillis & Friends: The comedy superstar headlines the Hollywood Bowl. • John Mulaney: The comedy superstar brings his Mister Whatever to the fest for what will mark his third showing and his third Hollywood Bowl Show. • Feid & Marcello Hernández: Largest Spanish-language comedy show at the Hollywood Bowl. • Seth Goes Greek: A night of music and comedy hosted by Seth Rogen featuring Eric André, Nikki Glaser, Stavros Halkias, Nick Kroll, Sarah Silverman and Taylor Tomlinson with surprise guests and musical acts.
