Saturday Night Live is SLAMMING the recent controversies with ICE! As we're sure you know, ICE has been in the news recently for the most despicable things. From the tragic shooting of Renee Nicole Good to how they've been pretty damn careless when it comes to doing their jobs, it's just a mess. Reports have been exposing a lot of things regarding ICE. Liz Landers reported via PBS News on how the agency has "cut their training program in half" and rolled back on their age requirements. Meanwhile a recent NBC article detailed how the new recruits are reportedly showing up to training with failed drug tests and not being able to meet academic or athletic standards. Most recently sources even reported an AI error sent recruits into field offices without proper training. It's been an absolute mess, to say the very least... And SNL is taking shots at all of this! During it, Ashley Padilla is playing Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem. During her part of the sketch, she says: "A lot of people are looking at the situation in Minnesota and wondering the same thing: Can I join ICE? Well let me ask you this... Is your neck wider than your head? Are you currently wearing a Punisher T-shirt? Have you ever punched a hole in the wall because your son took a dance class?" She added: "If the answer is yes, then grab a gun - any gun - and saddle up, big boy! Just know, you can always count on me.
