Colton Underwood is clapping back at hate comments! The former football player's sexuality has come under fire both on and off screen as he stars in the ongoing season of The Traitors, and he's sick of it! On Threads, a Traitors fan complained about the former The Bachelor star, writing rudely: "And I really wish Colton was straight again. We, the gays, don't want him. BYE!" Jeez. Colton reshared the post to his Instagram Story, per Us Weekly on Friday, reacting: "What a weird and hateful thing to say. I'm happily married and living my best life ... I barely survived being in the closet. I wouldn't wish that on anyone." He added: "Be kind today. It's a game and a TV show. ." His sexuality should absolutely not be under attack! That's just cruel. This comes after the reality star was accused of being the perfect Traitor because he didn't come out as gay until later in life. Michael Rapaport claimed it made him a good liar, and he got blasted by cast members for the insensitive statement. But there's been a LOT of controversy over Colton's casting, and it has nothing to do with his sexuality. Fans are outraged to see him on the popular series after his alleged stalking incident with ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph! She accused him of some very serious and disturbing things, and fans (plus Bachelor Nation's Demi Burnett) don't want the world forgetting all about that just because he's getting a good edit on The Traitors! Colton's yet to address those criticisms, but judging by his latest comments, it seems like he wants everyone to move on from the negativity. When it comes to the abuse allegations, though, we don't think that's gonna happen! But we do hope his sexuality stops coming under fire! Thoughts?? Let us know (below).
