Looks like the Sussexes are circling back to an old flame after a whole lot of behind-the-scenes musical chairs! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are officially teaming up again with Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis, the Hollywood power PR firm they know very, very well. And yes, the timing is raising eyebrows all over Tinseltown and beyond. Related: Meghan Shares Loved-Up Video With Harry Amid Rumored Marital Troubles! According to People over the weekend, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have brought SSML back into the fold as they continue reshaping their professional team for the new year. The firm will be supporting Meghan's lifestyle brand, As Ever, along with the couple's US-based projects. If that name sounds familiar, it should. SSML is basically the Avengers of celebrity publicists, representing A-listers, prestige projects, and some of the most polished reputations in the business. The context here is big, too - because this move comes after a string of staffing shakeups that honestly feels never-ending. As we've previously reported, the couple's chief communications officer Meredith Maines exited her role recently after less than a year on the job. Her departure followed several other high-profile exits across the Sussex communications universe, including global press secretary Ashley Hansen and multiple UK and US-based staffers. Even Archewell executive director James Holt, a longtime trusted advisor to the couple, stepped down months ago. That's a lot of turnover! So... why SSML, and why now? Sources told People that Meghan and Harry have always maintained a close relationship with the firm, even while building their own internal operations after leaving royal life and relocating to California. Sunshine Sachs worked with Meghan back during her Suits days and has partnered with the couple on and off since 2017. One of the firm's co-presidents even scored an invite to the royal wedding in 2018, which should tell you just how deep those ties go! The firm is now working alongside the Sussexes' internal team, including a man named Liam Maguire, who oversees UK and European communications, largely for Harry. In other words, it sounds like this isn't a total reset, but more like a strategic return to what they know works when the pressure is on. But it also makes us wonder: is this a sign that Meghan is gearing up for a major push with As Ever? Is this about stabilizing the narrative after months of personnel changes? Or is it simply a comfort move, going back to trusted pros who know how to handle relentless headlines?! What do U think, Perezcious readers?? Share your thoughts in the comments (below)!
